How would you connect to the hanger? add an additional 2 rows and then SS over the hanger to the back of the project? Or SC around the bar on the lower portion of the hanger. I’m going to make one with Lily cotton yarn to give as a Christmas gift.
BTW, thanks for taking the time to write out the pattern and share! I found the original pattern in an issue of Crochet World Mag, but like you I’d prefer not to spend the money on a pattern if possible.
I was just going to literally crochet it around the hanger. Just subgle crochet around rhe hanger bottom. I haven’t done it yet. I’ll do it this weekend and make a tutorial.
I used a J hook but if you use a smaller hook it will hold up better. I’m actually planning to revisit this pattern in a post next week. All the new notes and indormation will be in that update. If you follow the blog you can be sure to see it. 🙂
Thank you! I agree it is so useful. I have updated the pattern with a smaller hook and it gives the double crochet a little more of a sturdy structure.
hi, i tried to click to see the pattern (since its been moved) and it said that I couldnt see it unless I was invited to see it. 😦
Is there a way to get the pattern still?
I’m looking for this wall/hanger organizer pattern and it seems to be removed 😢 Can anyone send this pattern to me? I would love to make these for my mom, my daughter and myself!
Thank you!!!!
great idea, thanks for the pattern. x
Could you, do you think, make the back piece longer and tuck a length of it under a mattress for a bedroom organizer?
I think that would definitely be possible. I’d do it for about 4-6 inches so it really stays in place.
What type yarn did you use?
I used Red Heart super saver. 🙂

I really like your approach to this great project with single crochet. This is such a useful project so thanks for posting.
